Some time ago I opened a thread about the behavior of my Dmax during a trip to TX in the rain. As usual, the folks in this group have done their level best to point me and others on the right path. In this case, it seemed that the culprit might be the combination of the Edge and the intermittent wipers that caused my Pilot injection to turn off. Suggestion was to call Arron at Edge.

I called Arron and told him of my plight. Before I could finish the story (I have a tendancy to be long winded) he asked if I could wait about 2-3 weeks. Sure, I said. "We know the issue and have it fixed. Beta testing it now." Called Arron back a couple weeks later, he said, "whats your address?" I told him that I had not bought the unit from him or a dealer but on Ebay from a previous owner. "Doesn't matter to me. I'll send you a new one today and you ship yours back."

I got the unit 2 working days later. Plugged it in and set it at levels 4 & 2 (t/h) and was good to go. Arron sent a self addressed postage paid label and I shipped the old one back. Cost me nothing but the few minutes to take one out and put one in. 5 minutes absolute max!

I gotta hand out accolaides where they are deserved and so I called Arron today to tell him that if for no other reason, his service to his customers will certainly keep him in business. Its companies with behaviors like this that put pride in the term Service Company!

Hey Arron if you see this...... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif U Da Man!!

I may sound like a cheerleader but my old man calls me the president of the Duramax and Edge fan club. BTW now my old man and one uncle now own a Duramax but I have not converted them to power hungry fools yet!
