http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif First off, I bought these things cause I thought the wheels wells were way too open for my tastes an too much mud and muck got flung around inside the wheel well.

They are part # 15765007, and look like:

Now they install super easy and clean up the wheel well, but wouldn't you think the general would design a part that when moving wouldn't touch the damn tire!

So now I gotta take the things off and trim down the flap.

Well I do have to thank the board members for posting the part number. I ordered them from GM Parts Direct A little pricey, but easy to work with and very heavy duty reinforced rubber.

They come in pairs. I bought 2 sets, one for the front of the wheel well, and one that I custom cut for the rear of the wheel well, which I'll integrate into the mud flaps once installed.

I need to post some pics for you all.

Had exactly the same problem with the tire rub. Disappointed, but easily fixed with some angle metal ribbon. 10 minute fix and you can't see a thing different. They really do keep the well clean, my nictane doesn't see any mud or snow slush.
