My dealerhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif has told me there has been an increase of over $1500 on my ordered truck!(due to arrive on Fri.)


They sell at invoice so I assume this increase will be passed on to ME.Has anyone seen this increase on recent purchases? This seems excessive to me,without the msrp changing.


This is my first new truck and only the 2nd time buying from a dealer so I dont know all the ins and outs of this game.

I just ordered a GMC and dealer didn't say anything about price increase.


Call some other dealers and ?? them about price.


Maybe some kind of bait-and-switch.

Mine will here next week I hope. The price is still what they quoted me in March plus I now get the 1000 rebate along with the 0%.

I would be doing some checking also.....

Don't pay a dime more than you agreed to. Raise terror in the lobby of the dealership if they try and pull that on you. Worth a few hours in the pokey if ya ask me.

the only thing that i can think of is the massive increases in steel price... have you guys seen it?? I buy lots of wire and our prices have gone up...
