Can anyone explain to me the difference between the LB7 first generation d/mx & the LLY second generation?

Simple overview:


New variable geometry turbo increases low end boost.


Redesigned injectors are now easy to access.


Power up from 300HP/520TQ to 310HP/590TQ


New engine computer design.


Catalytic convertor and EGR on all models reduces emissions 90%.

Uprated Allison comes with it because the 590 torque now comes in at 1600 rpms. That's pretty impressive numbers.
