I hate having to arrange alternative transportation when they go in for service. Getting a loaner car is always an iffy.

Today I stopped by my dealer and talked to the service manager about bringing it in for a few issues. He said no car unless I have some type of service contract or VIP service plan.

I was bummed.

Got home and opened the mail.
Low and behold... a 3/36,000 $30 a day allowance contract!!!!!

The envelope said thank you for purchasing this contract. I didn't pay for any service contract. A promotion?

Anyway.. nice to be able to simply drop off the truck knowing they will always have a car for me!

I was expecting you to say something like.... "You're gonna need it"

Wonder if that is a promotion? I've never been to any dealer but when I picked the truck up the sales manager told me loaners were always available to reserved service appointments. The did send me some papers on that but my dealer is 1,100 miles away. Hope I never have to back.

This is not a jinx...this is not a jinx...this is....

The contract states it's good at all dealers. I'm afraid to ask why I got it.
