Hello from germany,


on my way looking for D'max here in germany, a german dealer, who has
2 of them, told me that story:

BOSCH, a big company in germany, has contacted him, to proof
these 2 Duramaxs. The older one, a 2002 with 192000 miles get
a new software-update and the other, a 2003 with only 60000 miles,
get all 8 injectors new !!! But these injectors are not broken !
Bosch wants only proof and change it !! And this dealer has nothing to pay for this. :)


I wonder, that a big company, like Bosch, is going this way.
Are they under pressure of GM ?

If the 2003 with only 60,000 miles is getting new injectors (the engine's weakest part) I'd definitely go with it (if everything else is ok). Post the VIN here under the VIN section and one of our wonderful contributing members will check it for you.
