While showing off my new truck to some family at easter my uncle mentioned that the inline 6 was a "naturally balanced engine" He also mentioned other engines that were also but I forgothttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif. I am wondering what those other engines were?

Due to the design of them, they are a very smooth running engine. GM uses the 4200 engine now in the GMT 360 and 370 trucks. (Envoy, Trailblazer, Bravada) and they run great. Way back in the day, we had the 250 straight six in the pick ups. Smooth runner and for whatever reason, the inline 6s' seem to have gobs of torque....
