Ok Sorry to start a new thread, I did not want to hijack the foot well light instruction thread or the rear foot well light install. I have a ? Concerning where the power comes from for these lights. I do not have these plugs in my truck and was curious what they went too if anyone knows.

I have gone over the pins in the above mentioned area with a voltmeter and swear I couldn’t find a pin that was hot with the interior lights. Folks have tried to help me before as I was going to hook my running board lights to this pin / or wire. But I still can’t seem to figure it out. I am sure it is simple, and/or I am just missing the pin but any and all help is appreciated again……TIA

I posted a pic in my garage, I was mistaken I have the brown plug so I guess that answers that? But what is the black plug for?

Yes, I see that pic. Just tap into either of those 2 gray/black wires that are located in that pin location. FYI, I tapped into one for my front footwell lights and the other for my rear footwell lights.

Thanks a bunch, I did a dry run the other night with 2 jumper wires and all the lights work and dont blow any fuses, so I will hook them up here shortly.
