I still have my gear vendors from my '99 Ford. Can't wait until GV makes the Chevy transfer case (ZF) adapter. I picked up about 1.5 MPG at 75MPH, and it made the Ford a whole lot quieter which isn't really a problem in my '06 Duramax.

What is it?
What does it do?
How much does it cost?

we have one in our 87 gmc with a 4 speed and a 6.2 it is a 17% overdrive if i remember correctly. dad had it installed but it fits between the output of the trans and the input of the transfere case so it makes your 4 speed and 8 speed forward and two in reverse. it shifts electricly and we use the clutch to aid shifting so it doesn't clunk so loud . ours has at least a hundred thousand on it with some maintainence. the shifter motor went out and some seals but we are very happy with it and have pulled loads up to 7 ton on the trailer behind this pu and not hurt this unit. lower hp rigs really make a difference with more gears to split. high hp rigs like the dmax with a six speed already I cannot see and avantage to it unless you want to give yourself more od or you can get it in a underdrive also. the under drive unit is what i would like to find for my old cummins dodge someone thought you need to go 90mph in that thing. it cost around 1500 installed back in the early 90's.
