I need to reset the taps in the trans and my only way to do it now is at the dealer. I called up for an appointment and they first asked if "I wanted the PCM reflashed, because that controls the transmission". I told them, no, I need the TCM reset and they said I was getting that confused with the PCM:rolleyes: . So, I called another dealer and they understood. Thought this was going to be easy. I told them I just needed the taps to be cleared. Hopefully, this dealer will figure it out...

So my question....what would be the benefit to get the TCM relfashed? (besides with EFI live:D ) Does a reflash actually clear all taps or that is a seperate process?

A reflash would clear the taps but I wouldn't bother with a reflash unless you were getting a service fix. As there is none for MY03 I'd just get the taps reset.
