anyone have pics of an autometer electric boost gauge install...just curious to see how and where you mounted the MAP that comes in the kit and what particular 12v cranking source you tapped into??? info and pics would be extremely helpful as im thinking of ditching the mechanical gauge...i know i made this post in another thread but its title didnt reflect what info im looking for from you all. thanks again.

and when i say install i meant under the hood install and fuse panel, etc., seeing them mounted would be cool too but not exactly what im really after....thanks!!!

here are a few pics from my install this last weekend. I used a fuse tap from checkers on the power out side. I used the SEO ACCY fuse for the power supply. It is lgnition hot. As for the boost sensor. I used a 1/8 drill bit to start then a 5/16 to finish. Use a 1/8 NPT tap for the thread. I kept the truck running at about 12-1500 rpm to make sure the metal shaving blew out. Good luck it is pretty easy. If you have anymore questions shoot me a pm. how hard is it to take the manifold off?

the easiest thing to do is to take the intercooler hose off if youre worried about chips and stick a ashop vac in the intake open end as you drill/tap to suck up the shavings...
