Thinking about buying a 2002 6.0L V8 Diesel GMC SLT 4 door crew cab 4WD, has 100,031 on it, the dealership is asking 18,000 for it? Good buy or no? Where is the hour meter on these trucks? It runs extremely well, very well maintained. Please let me know

A 6.0L is a gas v8 , diesel is 6.6L. Be sure you're being quoted on a diesel. Have the truck inspected by another gm dealership shop with focus on injector return rates (warranty extension covered to 200,000mi) , inspect transfer case closely for leaks (known problem and this truck has no warranty for this), also ball joints. If all checks out sounds good.
