does anyone have a problem with their front end squeaking? i have noticed that when temp are below 20F my front end suspension squeaks tremendously especially when i turn the wheels side to side and on the smallest bumps in parking lots. this problem is more noticeable at colder temps and tends to go away as temp rise. i've lube all zurks and noticed no diff. it is embarrsing to own an expensive new truck and have it squeak like an old jallopy!

i took it to the dealer the other day to schedule it in for service and they pulled it in the lube bay and did a chasis lube for me and said if that didn't fix it to go ahead and bring it in for service. i'm taking in on the 22nd to be repaired.

alaskaduramax,
What ever happened with this? I just took delivery of my truck last weekend and when we are going up our road, steep and switchback corners, the driver side suspension makes a lot of noise.
Thanks

It is your upper control arm. The dealer will fix it. My dealership said it is a big problem in these trucks. They fixed mine no questions. I carried a bottle of wd 40 and sprayed every other day it was annoying as anything though.

when i took the truck in to be looked at, the temp was warm enough not to make the front squeak. they gave me the "we can't duplicate it so we can't fix it" answer. since my warranty is up in december 04 I plan on taking it back in when the temp drops again.

When I took the truck in I had a list of things for them to fix. I had taken the truck to the suspension shop and we (they) tried all they could without replacing the upper control arms. Knowing that dealership would blame it on the lift. I had the shop draft me a letter with everything they had already done. BUT when I took it to the dealership and told them of the steps I had taken they said "this is a common problem with the 2500 dmax combos, and we'll fix it". If I remember correctly there is a rubber bushing that binds and has to be replaced. I always carry my digital camera I asked them if I could take pics of the repair to post and they said "No cameras in the shop". What ever they did it fixed it and there are no more squeeks in the front end. My truck was not prejudice to when it squeeked 1-100 mph, off road or on concrete. It squeeked all the time.
