Ok, I am new to the diesel world and have had a year of flawless service out of my Duramax. However, now I am getting the 0093 code and the limp mode when I get it in a little strain. I have been reading this forum and I have seen that this is a pretty common problem. So I was wondering just how many people have had this problem (except the dirty fuel filter)? I am out of warranty and really hate to pay the dealership $60+ dollars per hour to diagnose the problem. No one around here works on Duramax trucks except for the dealers and all of them are backed up because most only have 1 tech.
So, how many have had this problem and what was the cure. I have tried 2 fuel filters and the air filter and changed the rubber hoses on the FICM. No luck.
