3500flatbed 04-03-2006, 09:52 PM not so much of a question as a statement, but, i have previously posted a question about my truck temporarily sounding like a '86 cummins when cold, loaded (pulling a trailer), and edge on level 3. It only happened 3 or 4 times this winter. Well, for reasons unknown to me, it happened again yesterday, unloaded, with an engine temp of 155. it makes this phantom sound when you're into the throttle very lightly. WTF?! Versions 4.31 and 4.61 had this issue. Especially noticable in the 1700-2200 rpm band... truck also 'stutters' slightly. Check the pins, check the version. Then right back to lvl3 with the prior results. who knows. | ||
