Hello, I was hoping to get a few suggestions on an Aux fuel tank switch. I’ve ordered a 45 gallon American tanks tool box combo, but have been told the switch that comes with it is rather plain, if not ugly. I was hoping to get suggestion on a rocker type switch with a low profile and a lighted indicator. I was also wondering where everyone puts the switch? I was thinking about the area with the air bag switch (I have an extended cab).

Thanks for the help.

I put mine in the blank section above the air bag switch. Easy to reach.

I used the American Tank black plastic toggle. Put it in the lower dash "kick" panel right above my right knee. Out of the way and easily reached "on the fly" with the right hand. There should be plenty of switch options available. I believe it's a single pole double throw - it's a two position "on-on" switch.

Idle Chatter, Thanks for the idea. I guess I'll just wait until it gets in and make a decision after I see it. Unfortunately that won't be for another 2-3 weeks (I ordered it 2 weeks ago).

Consider the ash tray for location. That's what I did. Another reason no one can light one up inside ):h .

bigbud, did you put it in the ashtray, or did you replace the ashtray with a panel?
