Ok crazy question but does GM or 3rd party sell a differnet type/color key fob?
Reason being my wifes YUKON and my SIERRA are the same damn keys/fobs.
Just curious outside the obvious - buy a differnet key ring/chain, put them in differnet spots - blah blah.....

Thanks in advance.

I think this is a perfect excuse to get an astrostart remote start setup....just explain to the wife that it'll avoid any furthur confusion:D Then also tell her that the remote start requires a suncoast tranny and a bunch of tuning and other thingy's....):h :ro)

You could get a Cadillac key for one. The logo will be different and I think the metal is gold.

I guess they aren't gold anymore. :(

look at fccid # on back, same number same fob. different # no worky. I sell oem ones in my store. Ususally super easy to program into truck. also goto keylessride.com they sell them as well also their own brand that do look different for most vehicles. Lots of my customers have burned by ebay remotes.

You could easily paint them as well.

Or you could use fob #1 and your wife can use fob #2. I'll let you explain to your wife why her fob is #2):h

I put little P-Touch labels on the back of mine at first. Now I have The same brand/model remote start systems in both trucks. The fobs with the remotestart handle 2 different vehicles. You just press a button on the fob and it rolls over to the 2nd vehicle.
This only solved the problem with carrying 2 fobs on my keychain. I still occasionally try the wrong key though.
