This is a cool thing....maybe.

My brohter-in-law (nice guy) called and asked me how I liked my Juice. I let him know I liked it. He told me that the Chevy dealership in CA where he is the parts manager is going to be a reseller for Edge products. The products could be installed at the dealership. No time line yet, but this sounds like it could be a good thing. Thoughts/Opinions?

Not sure about forum etiquette so will not post the name of the dealer but it is in Hayward, California. He did not give me a date when they'll start selling.

I do not know if there are more than one dealer in Hayward. You can PM me if you want to exact name. I'll post when I have a date the selling starts.

I've had several dealers purchase and install Juice modules and fuel filter kits. Keep in mind this does NOT mean that GM approves, or endorses use of these modules on vehicles in warranty...

Beware Beware .....

I've said before and it needs to be said again .....

Although you may have the dealers, which is independently owned and operated, you don't have GM's blessing ....

If a major failure were to occur regardless of the actual cause, rest assured the factory rep will point the finger at the Juice ....

Have your dealer, in writing, tell you they will pick up where GM walks away from warranty coverage....In a WRITTEN contract not verbal ....

Lemme know what they say ....If the comply then that is a rock solid dealer ..... Just remember they all aren't ....

I know several dealers that got directly addressed letters from GM showing their discouragment. In a nutshell it basically said that the dealer is soley responsible for the warranty on that truck. I bet the dealers will sell them until GM bites them if something should happen.

Dealer will sell you anything, but like Mac said... I doubt they would take your side when it comes to the possibility of fighting GM for an issue.

I would like to respond to this....

Not ALL dealers are overpriced. It depends on what the market around them will support. We have 3 Chevy dealers within 30 miles here in SW ID and 2 are not making money (I think) and 1 is. I am basing this on the volume of cars that run through the lot and the amount of service bays and people and pricing the 1 has. When I looked for my truck, the "good" dealer had 2 trucks, the "ok" dealer had 2 but the one the other 2 dealers slammed had 13 Dmax's. They also had 4 times the other cars and trucks. the last thing that helped me decide to use them is thier GM high rating and the lowest hourly service rate at $65 per hour.

Yes, some dealers are only out to take a buck from you but some actually do try. Find the one you like and help them.
