Hunting & Fishing trips this month, so pulled 10K plus maint yesterday. The maint info that Eric has posted was invaluable. Use ramps to lift truck for the job. Did not find anything new in way of oil, lube from my 2500HD gasser. However, the grease zerks are harder to get to, but with 15" flex tub on the grease gun not impossible. Changed all filters (fuel, oil & tranny) using NAPA Gold. Just removed the skid plate since I was gonna change the front diff grease. The oil was ugly with all the soot. Installed my Fumoto Valve w/nipple & hose. The fuel filter is one awkward sucker to get out and Eric procedure w/photos was key for me be able to do it. Cut the filter to see it's condition. On both sides at the base where the holes are, the filter was completely black. The other half of the filter without the holes were clean/white. Changed grease in rear and front diff. Front diff grease came out milky color. Thanks to all who have posted maint info on the board as it has been very helpful for this 1st time at a diesel truck.:ro)
