Is the tranny in the 04 LLY model stronger than the previous years, therefore allowing it to handle more power?

The '04 trans. has a few minor modifications and that's it. They added a relief velve to lower line pressure at near idle conditions and near stopped conditions. This help keep trans. temps down in high traffic conditions. The rest is pretty much the same as before.
