I have it in writing from my dealer that THEY will not void my warranty if I install a CAT back aftermarket exhaust system. Any comments? What have other dealers said?

As long as you do not touch anything from the cat foward- it is perfectly legal. If they are still being pricks- try a different dealership. A GMC dealer. Sorry I was in vent mode, didnt read it closely. Then talked to someone who had their head removed from their rectum, and everything was good. The guy didnt even care that I had a chip on it. Some dealers are kinda anal about aftermarket kits, but many are not.
