Alrighty All. I've gained the confidence to try and change both diffs and my transfer case fluids tomarrow. I want to be 100% sure I know what I am doing, so I took pics of what I "think" I should be doing and loosening.
I'm looking for drainage points, and filling points. Here is what I'm looking at.
1st pic will be of the front axel.
2nd pic will be the rear axel.
3rd pic will be transfer case.
AND PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG! :thankyou2

Here is my front axel from the drivers side of my truck. Are these the correct Drain/Fill Points?

So far looks okay.
Don't know about the transfer case on a gasser, but on the dmax the transfer case bolts are aluminum. Be careful with them. The bolts are sealed with plumbers paste, you know, the white gunk in a bottle with a brush.

Now, heres the transfer case. I am lost here. I took a few different angles incase one of the points is on the other side. I'll number what bolts I "think" could be a Drain/Fill point. If someone with more smarts then me could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it! :thankyou2

I have a manual trasnfer case BTW.
And it says in the manual to use SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Axel Lubricant for both the front and rear axel. Anyone have a specific brand that they would recommend? And how many quarts will I need per axel? Thanks all!

The last pic of your tcase is right. I use Mobile One, the auto parts store can tell you how much if its not in your manual.

drain #2 fill #1. Looks like the last person used tape on the drain. I think the manual calls out past.

The last one is correct (ive got the manual Tcase too)
Tcase has Auto tranny fluid in it by the way... guess you probably already knew that, holds just under 2 quarts

Front holds 2quarts, rear holds 4. Mobil1 75W-90 is what I put in mine

I used tape the last time I changed mine and it works well!

yeah I did too... teflon tape is the same stuff as the teflon paste... just a different method of applying it.
