I've not heard anything good about Mastercraft tires. Everybody around here says they wear out fast. Can't help you with the other two.

I put on Toyo Open country AT 265 75 16 E. They are aggressige enough to go off road during hunting season and quiet enough for highway (very Quiet). About $800 mounted and balanced

My past 2 Chevrolet trucks have come with 265-75-16 General ATs. They were not the 'E' rated ones, but my experience is that they tend to pick up flats very easy and do not wear well. I will not buy another set of General tires based upon that experience. A couple of my cousins have Mastercrafts, and they really like them. I will buy BF Goodrich AT KOs when I upgrade, based on positive feedback from the forum. Many here also have good things to say about the Bridgestone REVOs and the Toyos.

Michelin LTX M+S. Not the best mud tire, but will outwear anything else, and ride great and quiet. Dollar for dollar, they cost less to run than any other tire out there. I have had great luck with them.

Cooper STT's i got 10,000miles on mine and they are holding up good. They have just a lil road noise but at $160 a tire for 285/75/16 i can live with it just rotate every 4 thousand.....

I had Mastercraft C/T's on my previous truck and liked them pretty well for the price. IMO They looked good, weren't too loud, and wore well. I did not care for the way they handled in the rain though. So far I like my Nittos though, they seem to be wearing pretty well, and are quieter than the Mastercraft C/T's.

Are you sure KO's can't be had w/ E rating?

No more Generals for me, 20k on factory Gen's and they were shot. BFG Long Trial, & Mich LTX M/S on truks now and both will easily reach 40k+.

I have the coursers. They are a little louder than I wanted. They are wearing well and look pretty aggressive. A little slick in the rain but not unbearable especially with these long wheel base trucks.

Does anyone have experience with the Toyo 265/75 16 E's and the M/T Traction tire. I have Bridgestone 265/75 E Revo's now and they are fine on the highway but worthless from my perpsective on anything off road. The load up and that is it. I am thinking about going to the Toyo M/T tires to get more bite. Tired of having getting stuck!
