Man I am getting annoyed with this obnoxious squeak/chirping from the passenger side rear dor on my 2500 Ext Cab. On a wavy road it sounds like a friggin angry squirrel barking at me . .


Sounds like it is coming form the top of the door any suggestions?

On my 97 3-door I had to spray the hinges, latches and pins a couple times a year with white lithium grease. Only takes a squirt and works for several months.

I had the exact same squeke on the same door. I had to pull the panel, and insert a ruber strip between the lower part of the panel and steel door.

Had that on our 2500 along with a slight rattle.I moved the lower catch in a hair,took care of noises.Also got rid of some air noise.

Found one clip missing on the panel on my father-in-laws when it had the same squeak. Dielectric grease on the seals will help if the issue is there.

I had to take both of mine in for the same problem. They adjusted the height of the door or the hinge. Grease worked for a while but the noise always came back and it was anoying.
