I'm Ready to order my efi live but have a question first. Curently running my ppe on hot (240 hp) and with my boost stick just crusin around underlight throttle conditions @ about 1750 to 2100rpms i see real low boost numbers avg. of 3psi and would like to riase this. is it posible to get more lowend boost under these conditions with out raising top end boost over 30 psi?

yeah but i'll keep it for back up,

my main goal is to make a good tow tune i dont want to have to detune for towing even though i dont detune now but the extra power of the ppe slows me down because of high egts and no low rpm boost

allright now that i see there are about 10 different tables that have some sort of effect on boost, which one or ones do i want to mess with to get what i'm looking for? This thing looks a whole lot more confusing than i thought it would be!!!! I guess i should have looked into it more befor buying, huh:o: ?

All right i got my efi live and have been playing with it some and i have modified the boost tables everywhere from a little bit to alot and cant get it over 20 psi, with my boost stick i've seen 28 psi

heres what ive done
changed all desired boost tables a b c egr on and off
disabled egr
diables p1093

Any ideas what i'm doing wrong!!!!!:help:

Say you want 20psi boost and you have a atmospheric pressure (baro) of 14psi. Then you need to put 34 in the table. Try to log some data using the GM.BOOST_DMA, CALC.ACTBOOST and GM.BARO2 and see how the GM.BOOST_DMA and GM.BARO2 are used to calculate the CALC.ACTBOOST. The CALC.ACTBOOST should be close to what your guage says at least up into the low 20psi range.

i see, that makes sense, so now that i i've converted all my readings into english insteed of metric i see that i only have boost raise to a max of 36 psi witch minus 13.6 for baro that would leave me at about22 psi which would be right because thats what i'm making, RIGHT?

Yeah Fingers should be open tomarrow i hope Andys truck is together but not fired up yet but none the less if its open i will be there!!!

I have achieved my goal of a good crusing boost running my own boost tables with a hot tune i have raised my boost at 60 to 70 mph from 3psi to about 9-10 psi and egts have droped from 900 to about 650. at first i had them at about 12 psi but every time i shifted gears the turbo was right on the edge of barking and egts at the same speed were a little higher at about 750, i have also raised top end boost to about 32psi but can still reach 1500 deg , its not as quick to get to 1500 but it will still get there!!!
