Does anyone know if I can do direct replacement of my LLY cat/cat pipe (stretching between the turbo downpipe coupling and the 4 bolt flange) with that pipe from a LB7?
If so, does anyone have one they want to sell me?

dmaxdzel,
You'll have to cut both of them some to make it work as the LLY/LB7 has a 4 bolt flange and is shorter than the LBZ which only has a butt joint held together with a band clamp. We do have here at DPPI 4 inch front pipes for both applications thought that will bolt on. Plus with ours if you ever want to reinstall the cat after off roading or racing it'll botl right back on!

I am feeling cheap and was wondering if I could just delete my cat and reduce my egt's without having to buy a fancy, smanshy exhaust system. But, it was reported that little difference was seen between before and after install egt's. Can you shed some light on this?

yes it will make a difference, but only 50-75 degrees since you still have the huge muffler. the good thing is if you keep the muffler you won't get an SES light when you delete the cat. I ran this setup for quite a while. if you do a lot of towin then it may benefit you to just get a whole system with free flowing muffler.
Mark, I think he is referring to LB7 parts instead of LBZ parts ;-)
