Here is my delema I would like a power adder, nothing to large just enough for towing my fiver.

I plan on adding a 4 inch MBRP this spring for sure, but the wife doesn't like the round pyro/boost gages ( I do though ALOT!!!! :thumb: they rule).

I like the idea of EFI live this product seems like the best value with the most flexability for now, and into the future.
Unfortunately when I downloaded the software and took a look at it it's evident there is a going to be a large learning curve.
I just don't have time this year to devote to learning how to tune my truck from scratch, and of coarse the wife doesn't like the round gages.:nutkick:

This leaves me with the edge opiton / s J/A I could have power upgrade no learning to operate it , wife likes the Attitude controller way more than the gages, or I could get the EZ and skip the gages alltogether and put the money I save into something else important like maybe fuel.
Also if I was to put the J/A in the overhead mount how hard would it be to remove to go to the dealer, as me and my only dealer within 300 miles really HATE!!!! ( i mean yelling and screaming ) each other.

Can someone please convince me of what is the best coarse of action from this point..

Sounds like you'll be best suited with the EZ. It will make you happy with power. It will make your wife happy as you probably don't even need gauges with it. It will make your dealer happy (or at least unaware, since it removes in about 30sec.).

If you don't want to invest a lot of time in tuning get the Edge Ez. I still recommend getting a pyro guage.

You can skip the learning curve by purchasing a custom EFILive based tune written by one of the tuners here on the board? Kennedy Diesel has some excellent custom tunes. IMO, if you are towing a fiver at least get an EGT gauge. Check out the billet "Cyclops" gauge mount by Trippin in my garage, the wife won't even know it's up there.

You will need a trans long before you will need more fuel.

If you buy the EFIlive from Guy Tripp (Trippin) He throws in a tune that will more then likely be great for towing.
Then if your needs change down the road, you have a bizzion options with it, and very little with the Juice.
