I know this subject has been beat to death but after a search i still have not found exactly what i'm looking for. since my boost stick install my truck has always had a p0101 stored but never a check engine light. now in the last week it has came on 3 times, 2 of them on the way to homer ny last night. the light did not come on until about 5 miles after a restart of the engine both times during highway cruising. there is no effect on power at all the air filter is a stock ac with about 3,000 miles on it. and i also have the stock air box swiss cheesed on the front and bottom side but has been like that for 15k miles with out issue.

Any input on what might be causing this would be greatly appriciated!

Twice again on the way home from NY today on the interstate. i drove it all week in ny from hotel to the school i was attending no light but as soon as i got on the interstate, boom there it was, oh well:blahblah:

Have you checked your MAF sensor, does it need cleaning? Just a thought.

I had a P0101, P0401 and P0404. I removed the BS and still got codes. So I soldered the fingerstick connections and no more codes. Hope that helps.

Thanx, i have checked and cleaned maf , sorry forgot to post that but i'm going to clean it again to day! i was going to check my finger stick connections today just for kicks but i dont think its the problrm as i'm only getting 0101's. Like i said i've always had the code when i pluged in a scaner or tuner but it never turned on the cel until just recently:confused: .

poblem still here and gotten alot worse it is now setting every other trip and it now has a freind setting with it a p0299. i no longer am running the boost stick but have my boost raised with efi live,

I still have my fingerstick installed could this be the problem since i have the egr disabled through efi????????????????
