Just got my new 110 update (great service Quadhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif).

Had a chance to run a fellow D-Maxer and Zinged the trans when I hit about 80 http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gif.

Had to stop and reset the code. Did it again later and zinged at about the same speed.

The old tune never did this and I had run it on some strong runs seeing if the limiter was removed. (did not work on my 01).

This is the first time this has happend and was quite suprised. I really don't run the truck hard just a little fun once in a while.

I'm scared now. Have set it down to the 90 hp setting and will give that a try. I had reset the trans and run it for a while before giving it a full run. Had to try to load the tune 3 times before it would go in. Could be that the de-limiter and tire cal. will not load into my 01'. After it took them out it loaded up!

The new tune runs great, sounds like stock, and a lot better pedal feel!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Any Ideas fellow Quad users????

Hey Chris -

It sounds exactly like mine did. The first few times it happens you "think" it limps the tranny, but doesn't. The engine is shutting down just like it hits a rev limiter for about 20 seconds. Happened to me every day.

Always happened while cruising or on a slight pull while cruising, never under full throttle.
