i have an 02 single rear wheel 2500hd. i was asuming that i could take the bump stops, overload springs, the spacer plate between the main springs and overloads, and the larger u bolts from a dualie and put them on my truck. my frame already has holes in it for the bump stops and the springs look like they line up. Is this frame the same as a dualie and is all of the possiable? if so where do i find a wrecked dualie for parts? went to the dealer ship, they want me to buy the whole entire sping package, not just the parts i want. would prefer that i had gm parts becuase the class i pull my truck in kinda frowns on after market parts. any sugestions? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Question.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

I don't know the answer moss, but I have been looking around for a wreck to get the parts off of and try this same thing.

Go to a Spring shop i had extra helpers added to of one of my trucks. I never looked at a 2500 in years, do the have the little steps on the frame for the helpers to sit on? Spring shop will make new ubolts.Edited by: Turfmower
