Picture this.
it's O dark thirty this morning about 30 degrees outside. I'm wearing mesh shorts, sneaker and a t-shirt with a carhart overtop, on my way to the gym. :badidea:
As I walk up to my truck I notice it's sitting in a puddle of it's own excrement.:damnit1:
I break out the flashlight and determine that it is either tranny fluid or coolant. A quick sniff proves that it's coolant.
I slide under the truck and try to find the source. The whole left side of the motor is covered in coolant. Dripping off the exhaust manifold and various hoses. :help:
The paper boy rolls by slowly in his truck rolls down the window and asks if everything is OK. I'm sure I was quite a site sticking out from under my truck, in shorts, 30 degrees out, cusing around the flashlight stuck in my mouth. :grd: :anitoof:
I finally trace it up to the top hose from radiator to intake. The clamp was very very loose. Broke out the tool box from the back seat and had it tightened in 30 seconds. Life is good.
Not a good start but it was a pretty quick fix and everything seems fine.
I suppose after 120K I can't complain too much.
