Picture this.

it's O dark thirty this morning about 30 degrees outside. I'm wearing mesh shorts, sneaker and a t-shirt with a carhart overtop, on my way to the gym. :badidea:

As I walk up to my truck I notice it's sitting in a puddle of it's own excrement.:damnit1:

I break out the flashlight and determine that it is either tranny fluid or coolant. A quick sniff proves that it's coolant.

I slide under the truck and try to find the source. The whole left side of the motor is covered in coolant. Dripping off the exhaust manifold and various hoses. :help:

The paper boy rolls by slowly in his truck rolls down the window and asks if everything is OK. I'm sure I was quite a site sticking out from under my truck, in shorts, 30 degrees out, cusing around the flashlight stuck in my mouth. :grd: :anitoof:

I finally trace it up to the top hose from radiator to intake. The clamp was very very loose. Broke out the tool box from the back seat and had it tightened in 30 seconds. Life is good.

Not a good start but it was a pretty quick fix and everything seems fine.

I suppose after 120K I can't complain too much.

Poor guy,he'll probably never be the same.:muahaha:

Start to worry if he begins stopping by more often or unannounced.

Y'all need to read that more closely. Nowhere does it say his "junk" was hanging out, only that "he" was. I don't know if I'd be thinking :grd: if my junk was hanging out when some guy comes driving up - I sure as heck wouldn't be thinking it in shorts while it's 30 degrees out!

Come to think of it, if I happened to be outside in shorts while it's that cold, then a whole lot of thinking probably isn't taking place anyway!

Well put it this way if its 30 degrees out he couldnt have had much or any "junk" hanging out (shrinkage remember?).):h

So is the paperboy still on the run? Or is he trying to rent the room over your garage?

You guys are twisted....):h No there was no junk......especially at 30 degrees, it takes a while before they drop again once I get inside.

I was just thinking that I looked like the biggest redneck on earth, but oh no you guys had to take it someplace dirty-:t

Pretty funny:lol:

I gotta ask...

Mesh shorts? Is 30 degrees just too dang warm for regular cloth shorts?
I have never seen mesh shorts, but the unpleasant visual it's giving me is too much for Monday morning.
