Would someone please explain the way this tool is used on the fuel lines? Do you have to "push" the connection together while sliding in the tool? Are there any special tricks?

Pull on the fuel line, put the tool in then push them together then pull the line off. It takes a little playing with to get it off.

Already used it, it was the easiest part of the job, by far.

Yes there is some definate "technique" to it. some come right off for me in a second or two. some take a bit of playing with.. glad yours was easy!
