Just want to raise my truck about 2-4". What's the best bang for the buck kit on the market for an 04 2WD model? And will I need to get longer shocks?

Thanks

You could always crank the torision bars but if you want the best ride I would suggest a spindle lift It's not necessarily the 'best bang for your $$$' but it will definately give you the look you want and the best ride. Check out these 4" spindles CST offers. They are fabricated as opposed for cast so the are stronger.

Hmm, pretty expensive. No other ways of doing it?

Thanks

You can get about 2" from just the torsion bars but anything higher and I would recommend the new spindles. They are not cheap but they are the best choice for a moderate lift.

Fabtech makes a 3" spindle for the 2WD HD that is very similar to the ones on my truck. My truck aligned correctly and drives great. No tire wear issues at all. Changing the spindle only moves the wheel mounting point. Stock shock length is still used. As y2kboti stated, they usually are the best choice unless you are doing something wild.
