put on my new 06 camper mirrors today on my 01. still have to wire in my turn signals.i need to trace my wires to connect to.
its amazing how much difference it made.

ajchuck 03-22-2006, 11:17 PM When your done can I see some pictures also some diargams or something to help me do the same thing? sjl_dmax 03-23-2006, 10:54 AM ajchuck, mr. losi has published what he did on his 02 to swap to 06 camper mirrors. http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67524 Jim mr. losi 03-23-2006, 04:31 PM grab the directional power from under the stearing wheel....i used the yellow and green on the big plug under the dash, i was told that those are the rear feads...and that there were some blue ones that are for the front directionalls...the hardest part is putting the wires through the rubber boot on the door.... daniel B 03-23-2006, 07:43 PM i tried MR. losi 's directions but the color codes on my 01 were different. it took me about 30 minits to install the mirrors and get dirrectional controls working. i used my fluke meter to find which wire worked which direction and a 9 volt battery to find the direction on the mirrors. i still have to hook up my turn signals so ill check the wiring when i get back in there. ajchuck 03-23-2006, 10:11 PM Would you post the color codes so that I can follow them as I will installing some 06 mirrors as well on my 01. | ||
