Hey all,

I just recieved my new lly and is sounds a lot different in the REAR of the exhaust. At about say 2000 rpm before shifting gears, listen at the exhaust noise out back. No need to roll the windows down!! Around 2200 to say even 2700 you hear a "drone"? more of a higher pitched rattle even. I know all about the variable turbo and cat converter...... If you haven't noticed it, give it a test...Even with a mild radio volume you can hear it. Otherwise The more I drive it, the more power is out and am loving that new truck smell!!!!!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

It wouldn't be the Pilot Injectors shutting off? I am thinking that is about the RPM they do. Does the engine get noisier also
