Hi all I am new here this is a great site, with a lot of helpful people.
I just went in and had my nsbu changed (under warranty thanks to this site, they did not want to warranty until I told them about the info I found here)
The truck is still acting up though, the selector line is not alway lit up and sometimes it acts slow and it WILL NOT light up under 1 the "shift range inhibitted" message has come up a couple of times also. The SES light has not come up this time.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is it possible for the nsbu to not be lined up correctly?
Thanks
Tom

Maybe another bad NSBU? Or the tech screwed it up somehow.

My guess is that the tech didn't align it correctly. Take it back and have them do it again.

If it were a tcm problem how would it act? The gear indicator comes across RND321 slow and will not go to 1.
Thanks

I doubt it is a TCM problem. Have them check the NSBU alignement and the shift cable adjustment. It's likely one of those.
