Looks like I am joining the club. I took my truck to NTB to get the tires rotated/balanced and told them about the random thumping noise. When I picked it up they told me that there was play in the passenger side hub.
I got a price from Napa $224.89 and the dealership $314.38 and I am going to check around for other prices as well. Are most of the hubs made by the same company and sold under different names like filters? Or, are they manufactured independently? I don't want to save a few bucks by not buying from Eric ($280.00) if the hub from Napa is not the same quality.
My truck has just under 108K miles on it and neither hub has been replaced to date.

gmpartsdirect.com has them for about $190 shipped to your door. Part number is 15225770. Takes about 2 weeks to get it because they consider it a "special order" item.

I might be able to get closer to $200 through NAPA, but one of the mechanics might have to take one for the team. If you know what I mean.):h

Got them (NAPA) down to $207.05 before tax. I think I have everything I need to complete this project, except for the 36mm socket that I will be picking up on my way home. I will try to get pictures to go along with a write-up.

I got the passenger side done last night with the help of the recent write-up added to the DIY entries. NTB told me that only the passenger side had movement in it, but that is not the case. After I got the done with the passenger side, I decided to jack up the driver side and found play in it so it will have to be replaced too.....

Drivers side cost me $204.20@Casa Chevrolet in Albuquerque.My buddy had a tax # with them.Make double sure you check it before you leave,the first one they gave me was for a 1/2 ton...

8-lugs on each....it is nice to have a quiet ride again. No more thumping.
