I have a few questions for those who have the transferflow toolbox/tank combo. I found a screaming deal on an older tank off of Ebay - however it did not come with any installation instructions. I have contacted Transferflow to order the fast fill neck retrofit kit - but they were not very forthcoming with any information other than that they pump from the aux tank into the main tank through the external vent line of the fill neck kit with some sort of tee connection.
For those who have one installed is this the way it is ?- it seems to make more sense to me to somehow tap into the filler neck itself - not the vent.
The aux tank itself has a suction, return and vent connection. I understand that the pump will have to be connected to the suction connection, in this case my thinking is that the return will not be utilized and can be sealed off somehow. Also I am thinking that the aux tank vent needs to be tied into the external vent provided with the Transferflow fill neck kit, but dont know how that will work if I hook up the line from the pump to the vent line like the Transferflow person told me.
Confused yet??? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif I sure am
I would appreciate any insight that you guys can provide.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Thumbs Up.gif
