Any help would be appreciated.

I've Been runnin a 4.30 (90) reg. juice for over a year now. towing 8000# on level 2 tow haul and using level 4 non tow mode. I never saw a limp or a high egt this way.

The attitude offers a lot of options like trans settings, defuel points and lockups.

Can anyone help with some settings to program for the attitude. I don't really want to slip the tranny, as this truck is also my livelihood. I might run in level 5 once in a while for the fun of it.

Can you set these functions for each level, so that when ever you change a level theses setting automatically take effect? or each time you change a level they have to be set.

If someone in the same situation as me or anyone else would like to list the best/ safest setup of my monitor I would appreciate it.

Regards,

Pepperidge

No it's one setting for all levels ....

Stick with defuel all shifts or 4/5 defuel at the absolute min ....

All the other settings really don't matter with the exception of emissions and low boost setting ....

I'd set the EGT limit at 1300 or lower for towing. Just my.02http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

Thanks guys. I thought it was gonna be alittle more tunable than that but It's gotta be better than the 'ol 4.30 (I get the 125hp mode) I dont think I'll disconnect my Dakota gauges to run the egt parameter though. I still haven't figured out where I'm gonna put that thing. I mainly got it so I could switch instantly to whatever level in tow or std. mode. The extra power level didn't hurt none either. that and the price of $685http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gif

I run the low boost @ 3. Besides smoke is there a noticable difference in power ? I'll be giving it a try after my system adapts. Now running 3/3. Did crank it up to 5 a couple times for a HEMI and a Tundra. The lower levels seems to take care of the others.

Mines on it's way so I'm not sure what you mean by these settings (kinda like the old juice better, it seems simpler) I guess I'll know what you're saying when I get mine.

Pepperidge,

The "old" Edge you have is set to level 3 on boost/fuel. With the "new" box you can adjust that from stock I to smog V. I would suggest level 1 on boost for every setting and don't mess with the shifting if you want the tranny to live. For eveyday driving level 4 should be ok... if you don't dead stop "stomp it" every time. However, when you're pulling I'd go with level 1 or maybe 2. The new box has an egt limmiter that will turn the box down if it goes above your set EGT. I run mine @ 1410 and forget about it. The box has a back-down feature that will allow you to see how much the box is pulling out as you near your set EGT, it's really cool. The engine temp is nice. That little part let's you know when the "JUICE" will be 100% useable. When the truck is cold there is quite a difference between what the OEM guage reads and what the EDGE guage shows, you'll see.

Enjoy the new toy!

How could the number 2 and 3 teams playing produce a national champion. The true "National Champion Trojans" reside in Los Angeles (LA), not Louisiana (LA). Congratulations to the "National Champion USC Trojans", and the runner up LSU Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh really!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif Whoo did USC have to play? They couldn't beat any SEC team let alone LSU. Keep dreaminhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clown.gif!!! I only wish the BCS would have pitted the two teams together then the crack 10 would be eating crow right now.

Here is a conspiracy theory for ya. They purposely didn't put the Condoms against LSU so they wouldn't be embar"ass"ed nationally by a southern team. The (liberal)Media is very biased when it comes to these things as well as proper coverage of our fine President.

on edit: we should take this to the war room. lets not ruin a good informative topic. Don't want to get the mods angry.Edited by: pepperidge

Pepperidge, in silatman's defense, USC did whup up on Auburn to open the season. I think they should have played each other. I also think LSU would have won had they played each other, but it would have been verrrrrrrrry close. Not trying to start an argument or hijack the thread. BTW, I think the war room is closed, so you would have to take it to Off Topic.

Point well made but I really didn't consider Auburn to a formidable opponent either. Like I said I would much prefered LSU play USC for the title. The nat'l title USC won was extremely prejudicial in favor of USC. LSU could have beeen undefeated and the coaches poll still would have voted for USC. They are just as incompetent as the BCS in their ranking, when personal preference or long standing traditions or loyalty can influence a Nat'l championship, it doesn't mean squat.

I think Nick Saban should have challenged USC to a winner take all game. It would have made both the schools a ton of money and shook up the bcs and the prejudicial Coaches poll. Just my .02

Yeah but I don't think it will be as much as a grudge match as LSU against the Gators. The Tigers have something to prove. I know the Big G lost twice to LSU last year, and they will be out for revenge. So it ought to be good.

I wish LSU would have had to play the gators for the SEC title last year beating them would have made things a lot different b-4 bowl time.

Oh ! on edit to my last post USC played one less game than LSU, could have made a difference if they would have had to play someone tough in that 1 less game
