I'm wondering if I should put in an EGT gauge. I know you can get EGT readings from selecting that monitoring function on the Edge monitor and others, but has anyone just put in a gauge to keep an eye on the temp?

If so, what did you get and where did you put it? The only place it seems to fit would be an "A" pillar gauge pod.

It doesent hurt as all diesel trucks should come with an egt from the factory.

Anyways theres afew places to mount. The A-Pillar, Trippins mount which goes in the overhead console, there is also a mount that goes just above the rear view mirror that you can get. There a single mount pod thta goes in that area right behind steering wheel where emegency flasher switch. Some people have even made custom mounts.
