Any tips on removing the front drive shaft to replace the U-joints. It can't be as easy as it looks?

Anything to beware of?

IIRC from replacing the 4L80-E on my 1994 3/4 ton chevy, the front driceshaft just unbolted from the transfer case with I think 4 bolts or so. It wasn't a standard slip joint like the rear, but was kind of a plate that carried part of the u-joint and mated up with the x-fer case. Someone correct me if I am not remembering correctly. I think the other end was just a standard U-joint. (4 bolts, holding two little brackets) I remember that it was extremely easy to pull the front driveshaft though and I don't remember anything tricky about it. It was easier to handle than the rear due to size/weight.

I've never seen one different.
