Does anyone happen to know how to program a FOB for my 02 D/A? I have the original 2, but one of them doesnt work even with the new battery in it. Isnt there a learning process which involves number of key cycles?

Any help is appreciated!

This works on my 01, and 02, maybe even the 05, never tried.



1) Get in the truck and close all doors.

2) Put key in ignition.

3) Hold down the power UNLOCK button on driver's door and continue to hold it down.

Perform steps 4-7 in fairly rapid succesion.......

4) Turn ignition switch to ON position ( as far as you can without starting it)

5) Turn ignition switch to OFF.

6) Turn ON.

7) Turn OFF.

8) Release the power unlock on door panel. The truck will lock and unlock the doors automatically.

9) Hold down the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the FOB simultaneously until the doors lock and unlock. It may take up to 30 seconds.

Repeat step #9 for each additional FOB ( including any existing FOB)

10) Turn ignition swith to ON to exit the programming mode.
