Does anyone else have the problem of the rear tires wearing faster than the front tires. As much as a 30% difference in tire tread?

Yep! Diesel torque baby! Mine is more like 60-80% more wear in the rear!

Even worse if you tow heavy loads or hard acceleration starts! The only weak link is the rubber on the ground!

I rotate and rebalance every 5K and that keeps them pretty even. I also dropped the pressure to 45 in the rear to get full contact all the way across. No luck with the right foot though http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif

Good rotation intervals will help to even things out. I go 6k on a rotation, same as my oil changes... Makes it easy to remember...

I rotate every 5000 with my oil change. I get pretty even wear that way. It's also alot easier to grease with the tires off.
