I am in the Military and as such move around more than I like to. Now that I have a decent tow vehicle I think it is time to buy an enclosed car hauler that will allow me to move the wifes car along with guns/ammo and whatever else the military wont move. I am looking for a 24' car hauler with a V-nose. #5,000 axles, front ramp door is a must, at least 48" but want 60". I plan on someday moving north and don't want to have to purchase a new trailer for snowmobiles. I have looked at Pace, Haulmark, ACT and some others. I don't want a standard Above the Deck "Snowmobile" trailer. I just don't know what is best. I would like to stay below $7500 while still getting the best trailer that I can. Thanks for the input.

How wide is the front ramp? The ones I was looking at were 4 feet and it didn't seem wide enough for a sled to make the turn very easily.

not sure on the width but its more then wide enough for quads with +2 a-arms and sleds

I would look into http://www.hhtrailer.com/viewcatalogcargo.asp they make good trailers. They should have what you are looking for. I'm in the military too and I'm looking for a good enclosed trailer. I let a 32' H&H gooseneck enclosed trailer close on me on ebay before I was able to bid. Good luck!

Just sold a 24' Classic, it gave me great service for 6 years, winter towing and road salt really took it's toll. Went with an all aluminum ATC, quality seems a little better but it should be for the cost. Have used a Haulmark in the past and would not recommend, just didn't seem to hold up well. I would put the high end Pace units up there with the ATC only steel framed instead.

Legend just started making one like that with a 6 foot wedge. Has full 60" front door. Unfortunately, it's not in the price range you're looking at but is a nice trailer. All aluminum.

Thanks for all the comments guys, anyone farmiliar with American Hauler? THey have just about what I am looking for, I just have to confirm today that the front door is 60". I am aslo waiting on Pace to get back to me. Their snowmobile trailer is standard with a 60" ramp in the V but my local dealer says that they can't do a 60" in the car hauler (the only difference being that one is drop axles and the other is above the deck).
