Hi, I'm also new to this site. I have conflicting opinions on catalytic converters from other people. I own a 2005 chev 2500 duramax that I absolutely love. I've installed an edge w/attitude and a magnaflow 4" from the cat back along with an Airaid intake. I have plenty of power but I live in Southern Utah and summertime can be over 110 degrees. Even pulling a small trailer up small hills puts my EGT's at 1200 or more.Everyone in town says if I remove the cat I will lose my low end. Does anyone know if this is true? They also haven't heard of the finger stick so I don't know if I should believe them. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks.

Good to have you in the brother (and sister)hood. When you get a chance, go to "User CP", create a signature and list your truck options and any modifications so users can help you better. Also, create a "Garage" and post pics of your rig because....
