I don't have the dually, but I'd say your mileage is about right.

I tow in T/H and cruise on. Get 10 mpg usually towing 14,000 lb fifth wheel with VA box on 90 hp setting. Empty 17.

T/H on, but hardly ever use cruise. I averaged 12.7 MPG pulling my 10K 5th wheel with Hot Attitude Juice on Level 2 this past weekend through some fairly decent grades through West Virginia and Kentucky.

OD, mostly cruise, stock, 6000 lb TT, 13 mpg...I only use T/H in city traffic.

T/H on, OD on, and cruise on so long as there are not too many hills. Pulling 12,000 5th wheel. Seems like I always have a head wind and get between 9-10 mpg.

OD on/ T/H on makes it easier in traffic & hills, I just keep it the same on the freeway. I change the OD to off on the big hills, seems to run better, less stress on the DMAX & me.
