After calling all my local GMC dealers, it's pretty clear that none of them know much about D-Max's. If anyone is familiar with a competent tech and a transmission shop that knows Allisons in the New York are please clue me in. The truck was purchased in Florida, I'd hate to have to drive back for good service.

I use Jim Curley GMC in Lakewood NJ. I only let ONE tech who seems to be one of the only ones who knows DMaxes work on my truck. His name is Bryan ??

My experiences with other techs at this dealer were a disaster http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Throw Up.gif

There aren't to many GMC dealers in this area since I have to sit and wait for my truck. Pine Belt Chevy is in the same area but I haven't been there since I bought a GMC
