Why?

I keep losing some water..not much...

and its not a head gasket...because whenever i pull off the res. cap it doesn't even let out a puff..

when my last engine had a head gasket leak i'd always get the puff..

I squeeze the rad lines and there limp..no hardness whatsoever.

I have a tiny pin hole lead in the soft aluminum heater hose (the one that runs along the passenger side valve cov er)

anyone have an idea?iots not running real hot...but its also a lil hotter than normal....and it looses maybe 3 cups of water.....(this was after like 200miles of driving)

anyone know?

I would say just keep filling it up, there are probably lots of air pockets in the system. How much fluid are you losing throught the pinhole leak in the aluminum line?

keep an eye out for spots under the truck, i had a similar problem, as a heater tubing line on the passenger side

Check hoses at turbo. A problem area.

Also the 4' long bypass hose above the water pump.
