What is the max EGT on the Duramax. I run the Juice/ Attitude.

You shouldn't sustain more than 1300 for more than 15 to 20 or so seconds. If I run any temp sustained, I keep it under 1200. Some of us are getting to 1700 to 1800+ in the quarter and pullin for brief moments with no damage yet. I wouldn't want to push it to far though. Super Diesel

So with this being asked.....what are the Attitude/Juice guys setting the EGT limits to?

I run juice/attitude and have mine set at 1250 as well... I have had mine on level 5/low boost level 5 at wide open throttle up to 80 and it could only reach around 1040 egts... I usually run daily driving on level 3/low boost level 3 and never exceed 850 egts, but I drive conservatively as I want to make this truck last... cruising at 60 I am running around 540 egts.. at normal operating temperature it idles between 250 and 300 most of the time...

I run sub 500 on cruising, about 475 typically..weird.
