Hope someone can help me figure this one out...I have came to the


conclousion its the high pressure pump or the fuel regulater...heres


the scoop...I have trouble code P1093C have no fuel in the oil...it will


not start by using the starter...my cranking speed is 150 to 200...


glow plugs working...rail pressure is 1.2 mpa with key on engine off...


while cranking it goes up to 1.7...but it does not start...use a little


starting fluid and it starts right up...rail pressure running is between


5500 to 6000 psi...any body has any insight...it would be greatly


appreciated...oh yeah it is a 2002 with a 120,000 miles...injectors


put in at 75,000 GMC said to bad to sad.

what is your injector return flows? 1.7 mpa will never get it. Need 10.0 to start. I highly doubt an injector will leak bad enough to get you that low of cranking pressure. Is the pressure relief valve leaking? Leaning on that or a pump myself

are you using a tech-2? Your fuel regulator flow is WAY to high, normal engine is only 800-100 mm at idle

No, I do not have a tech 2 I'm using OTC Genisis which is the maker


of tech 2 You mentioned that my flow rate was to high I will double


check it Its possible that I have transposed some numbers...its hell


when you start getting old! is there anyway I can call you and talk


to you about this? if you like you can even call me my shop # is

will not cost you anything as I would like to get into your gray


matter and scratch around a little bit...I also called my dealer and


asked for a pressure relief valve and they went HUGH? and I tried


to explain it to them and they still went HUGH? I have to admit this


dealer is really no help at all on the duramax...Is there another term


for the pressure relif valve or do I have to buy the whole junction


block? a part number would be sweet.

the relief valve comes with the junction block.I am weighing on the fuel pump as well. the most accurate way is to measure the quanity of fuel from each bank of injectors.also fuel api is very important.

3 new injectors on the left side start right up now
